| 授業概要 | By introducing the students to ways teachers can prioritize using English in the classroom, students will be able to improve their own proficiency, as well a English learners’ outcomes in secondary school classes. |
| 授業のねらい・到達目標 | Students will be able to gain confidence using English as a medium of instruction in the language classroom.(A-3-3、A-4-3) この科目は文理学部（学士（文学））のディプロマポリシーDP3、DP4、及び、カリキュラムポリシーCP3、CP4、に対応している。 A-3-3言語現象や歴史的事象を既存の知識にとらわれることなく, 語学的根拠や批評理論に基づいて批判的, 論理的に考察し, 説明することができる。 A-4-3英語学・英語圏文学に潜む問題を発見し, 専門的知識に基づいて解決案を作成できる。 |

| 授業の方法 | Students will participate in lectures, discussions, viewing of video lessons, and guided writing assignments on the benefits of using only English in second language classrooms. Students themselves will create and carry out micro English lessons in which they lead an English lesson from the front of the class, and evaluate their classmates’ teaching performances. Feedback will be given upon completion of each task. |
| 履修条件 | 英文学科の学生（３・４年生および再履修・転科・転籍・転部・編入の学生を含む）は抽選によって振り分けられた者のみ履修可。 抽選の詳細は年度初めガイダンス（３月末／４月頭）にて案内する。 英文学科以外の学生は、担当教員の許可を得て履修すること。 なお、人数調整等の理由により、受講不可の場合がある。 |
