授業概要 | The overall aim of this course is to help students communicate in English with fluency and confidence. Through the World Link resource, we will delve into a rich variety of global cultures, countries, lifestyles, and stories of real people from around the world. Each lesson is designed to not only enhance communication skills but also to broaden students’ cultural understanding and foster global awareness. During class, students will participate in a variety of guided activities which are designed to improve their ability to express themselves clearly and effectively in spoken English. |
授業のねらい・到達目標 | In this course, students will develop their English oral communication skills. In particular, students will be able to: discuss the role of English in society and English-speaking contexts (A-2-1) understand and appreciate global cultures and social issues (A-3-1) use appropriate grammar and vocabulary to express thoughts and opinions when discussing a variety of topics (A-6-1) この科目は文理学部のDP及びCPの2・3・6に対応しています。 |

授業の方法 | Students will read and listen to authentic texts, engage with the materials through communicative activities, and complete short quizzes. Students will also be expected to give a short presentation at the end of the semester. Feedback will be provided in class or online when assignments are returned. |
履修条件 | ①英語習熟度別クラス分けテストを受け、その結果により振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。 ②英語習熟度別クラス分けテスト未受験の者は、GRECで振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。振り分けられたクラス以外での履修はできません。 ③「英語1」(前期)と「英語2」(後期)は同一教員による同一時限のクラスを履修すること。 ④卒業に必要な外国語科目として「英語」を選択した場合、必ずこの科目を履修すること。 |
