授業の形態 Due to the prevailing Corona virus pandemic, classes will be conducted online. Classes will be held during real time meetings on zoom and instructions about assignments will be posted on blackboard cloud. Your ID for Blackboard is 20200450.

Please cooperate to complete the course successfully. Please sit in front of your computer at least five minutes before the class starts and log in.
授業概要 This class is a continuation of English 1 and students will continue to develop their communicative skills acquired in the spring semester.
Students are required to spend at least one hour per week studying the directions for exercises given in the textbook, listen to the CD in the textbook and do the follow up exercises to improve their English listening and speaking skills.
授業のねらい・到達目標 この科目は文理学部のDP及びCPの2, 3, 6 に対応している。

We will continue to develop listening and speaking skills, placing much emphasis on speaking.
授業の方法 We will listen to different topics on important social and cultural activities, and gain information and advice from the reading passages based on the latest research in cognitive science. In addition to the textbook, we will use supplementary materials and communicative activities to be practices in class in the form of individual and group work.
Students are supposed to spend at least one hour to complete preparation and homework on each class.
履修条件 Students are expected to come to class with a positive mind to improve their communication skills. They are also required to spend at least an hour per week studying the textbook, class materials and listen to the CD to review materials studied in previous classes.
